**MASH Trust support people in their own homes, within MASH home and in the community. We operate throughout the lower North Island, in Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua, Manawatu and Hawkes Bay regions.**

**With over 550 staff and volunteers, we work alongside the people we support to enable them to live fulfilling lives.**

**The Role**:
As a Community Support Worker you will be supporting clients by maintaining a high quality of life, a quality home environment, and encouraging full participation in all aspects of community daily life.

**The Positions**:
**Position 1 -**this position is 12 hours per fortnight - working every second weekend
**Week 1 -**Saturday and Sunday 3.30pm - 10pm

**Position 2 -**this position is 16 hours per fortnight - working every second weekend
**Week 2**:

- Saturday and Sunday 7am - 3.30pm

**This role (position 2) specifically requires a Female as specified by the people we supports needs, under the Health and Disability Code of Rights and as provided for under Section 27 of the Human Rights Act 1993.**

**You will have/be**:
A relevant qualification and/or experience is desirable, however not essential.

Comfortable with completing personal cares such as - assisting with showering, dressing and getting our people in and out of bed.

Hold a current full drivers license

The ability to take pride in a healthy home environment including cleaning, meal preparation and shopping.

Eligible to work in New Zealand with a minimum of six months on Visa.
