Wētā FX's Camera Department works across a wide range of franchise and independent content, providing camera tracks and rotomations to service the downstream departments of this award-winning company.

You’ll be working on a diverse range of projects and will have a solid understanding of 3D and Maya (or have similar transferable skills). Your role will include recreating plate-based cameras and animating 3D puppets to replicate character movement or matching hard surface props to provide a solid base for downstream departments.

**As a Camera TD you will have**:

- An enthusiasm for plate photography and puppet animation
- A willingness to learn
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic to medium level rotomations
- Good Maya knowledge
- Basic 3D Equalizer, Nuke and RealityCapture experience
- Familiarity with Linux based operating systems
