We have an exciting 12 month parental leave cover opportunity as our Head of Brand. This role is responsible for the BNZ Brand and Market Research outcomes to support the execution of our Marketing and Design Strategy and the BNZ Strategic Ambition.
You'll be working with a fantastically talented team to shape how we show up to New Zealand and deliver on our brand platform of Let's find a Way.
**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**
We spoke with our GM - Marketing & Design (who you'd report to), and she let us know the following about the tūranga (role):
**What are some day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Understand both the category and business, identifying opportunities to deliver exceptional brand strategy and go-to-market campaigns and brand experiences, resulting in strengthened brand metrics and the achievement of business targets. In a brand capacity this covers responsibility for end to end brand strategy and execution, including the Partnerships portfolio.
- Ownership of the BNZ ecosystem of reporting and insights delivered by the Market Research team including NPS, VOC, Reputation and Brand Health. Maximise impact on the business through the sharing of insights to guide strategy and decision making.
- Foster a strong working relationship with agency partners to optimise creative delivery in market, clearly substantiating the BNZ brand and delivering strong brand building activity. Likewise with our research partners.

**What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?**
We are looking for someone with a deep appreciation for creative ideas that drive business results and how to nurture them into reality in a complex stakeholder environment. You will also have a commitment to achieving great customer outcomes and be innovative, resilient and tenacious.
Additionally you will have;
- 12+ years' experience in Marketing /Brand specialist roles in a large and complex environment
- Deep knowledge and experience working with research and key performance metrics including reputation, brand & comms tracking, Voice of the Customer and NPS.
- Experience in delivering strong brand building creative through a team, and influencing strong beyond-team creative best practice
