The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.

We have the opportunity available to join our Community & Whānau Wellbeing team in Taranaki in a permanent, full-time role as an **Administration Coordinator**. The purpose of the Administration Coordinator role is to provide day-to-day administration support and coordination functions, to enable the team to deliver on a high-quality standard work programme.

**Mōu | About you**

You are an experienced administrator or coordinator with proven experience supporting teams. You are able to pick up new systems quicky and have excellent communication skills. You're well organized and are comfortable working with and for diverse communities. You're a good listener able to build rapport and are easy to approach and talk to.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A relevant tertiary qualification - or comparable experience
- 3+ years in office administration experience supporting a manager and team including management of finances and supporting teams in the use of business systems
- Able to proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in systems and processes to improve efficiencies
- Able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a timely, and accurate manner
- Able to demonstrate building constructive and effective relationships with stakeholders to build a sound understanding of their operational environment and context
