SAI SUB LIMITED is a growing takeaway food retailer committed to delivering quality service and delicious meals to our customers. We operate in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and are now seeking a dedicated Store Manager to lead our Hamilton location.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory for takeaway food items, packaging supplies, and beverages, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Lead a team of staff members - hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Implement local marketing strategies and in-store promotions to boost foot traffic and sales
- Maintain accurate financial records including cash handling, POS system reports, and daily reconciliation
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, presentation, and quality control in the kitchen and service areas
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely and cost-effective procurement
- Resolve customer complaints and feedback professionally, maintaining high service standards
- Assist with menu pricing, cost control, and profit margin monitoring
**Key Requirements**:
- **Qualification/Work Experience**:
- A New Zealand Diploma (Level 4 or above) or overseas equivalent, **OR**
- Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in food retail or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and retail operations
- Proven ability to manage a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a hands-on approach
