We are hiring for a **store manager role** within one of our stores. Ideally, we would like you to be strong on multiple fronts, however, if you are a fast-learner with a great work ethic we would also consider training you. Retail experience, a strong eye for detail, ability to work weekends, public holidays and being physically fit, and the ability to work under pressure are desirable traits from our future store manager.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
Ø Managing and motivating staff, as well as setting targets and sales goals.

Ø Developing innovative ideas to grow the business.

Ø You must be physically fit as lifting (25 kgs) is required

Ø Complying and enforcing health and safety protocols.

Ø Competitor analysis and business positioning

Ø Developing promotional material ranging from social media to paid advertising.

Ø Inventory control such as safeguarding measures, stock control and stock ordering.

Ø Liaising between staff and the head office.

Ø Preparing reports and planning store objectives throughout the year.

Ø Ensuring all staff are rostered accordingly.

Ø Deal with customer complaints.

**You will possess**:
Ø Knowledge of POS systems, preferably Cin7 and Shopify.

Ø Social media marketing experience and advertising experience.

Ø Prior experience in the home decor, rug, or têxtile industry.

Ø 2 years of retail management experience.

Ø Ability to work weekends and public holidays.

Ø Level 7 or above qualification in Management would be an advantage.

Ø 2-3 years’ experience in a customer facing role.

Ø Able to communicate effectively

Ø High attention to detail

Ø Confident

Ø Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

This role is a full-time position working approximately 31.5 hours per week. The pay is $27 - $32/hr depending on experience. **PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN WORK WEEKENDS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.**
