**Position Title**: Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) Coordinator

**Location**:Tauranga - Windermere Campus

**Team**:Teaching & Learning - Nursing

**Position Type**: Permanent, Part time (20 hours per week)

As a DEU Coordinator within the Teaching and Learning - Nursing team, you will lead the development, coordination, and evaluation of Dedicated Education Units (DEUs). You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting high-quality clinical teaching, supervision, and assessment of ākonga nurses, ensuring alignment with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) and NZQA standards. This role is essential to fostering strong partnerships with clinical agencies and promoting evidence-based, learner-centred education.

The salary for this position will range between $74,133 and $92,666 pro rated to hours worked, depending on your skills and experience.

This role is based at our Tauranga, Windermere campus and reports to the Clinical Placement Lead - Nursing.

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

- A Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent), Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing, and current NCNZ Annual Practising Certificate
- At least 5 years’ experience in the nursing and healthcare sector, including 2-3 years supporting ākonga in clinical practice
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in clinical education, quality assurance, and evaluation processes
- A strong alignment with our values of Toitūtanga, Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga, and Kotahitanga
