Our client, an Auckland-based digital marketing agency is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for following up on leads, identifying the needs of potential clients, and selling
**appropriate** digital marketing solutions to meet their specific requirements.

We’re not looking for someone who over promises to make the big sell - setting up the delivery team to disappoint.

While technical knowledge of digital marketing solutions and web design is important, we are looking for someone who is primarily a

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Follow up on leads to identify opportunities and meet sales targets
- Research and understand the needs of potential clients to offer appropriate digital marketing solutions
- Work closely with the sales team and account managers to ensure a smooth handover of new clients
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to generate leads and expand the company's network
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions

**A bit more about you**:

- Proven experience in sales, ideally in the digital marketing or web design industry
- Good tenure in previous roles - we’re not looking for a flash in the pan - outcomes and results are important.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with clients and understand their needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of digital marketing solutions and web design, but not necessarily a technical specialist
