**Description of Role**

**Coordinate and execute advertising, marketing and communication activities as requested.**

**Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties**
- Work on the development and execution of marketing activities and across different brands/divisions to meet project objectives
- Develop, edit and produce artwork for promotional and communication material to resonate with marketing initiatives
- Liaise with advertising companies to prepare detail aids, leaflets, posters and other materials as required
- Assist in creating educational material, sales presentations, proposals, correspondence, and reports as required by the Marketing Department
- Prepare reports on marketing and sales metrics
- Collect and analyse target audience behaviour data to assist in new strategies to implement across divisions and understand your target audience for the projects you’re working on
- Assist events team in managing national conferences and local events for all divisions and provide assistance as required with the following:

- Design booth artwork and production
- Attend trade shows, local consumer and healthcare professional events to increase market knowledge
- Create invites, social media posts, website updates or any other event-related posts/updates as required by events team

**Compliance**

Ensure that all marketing collateral is compliant and that every detail about the product is correct and meets the requirements of the company and regulatory bodies in the industry. This includes but is not limited to:

- AMSL/NZMS, global or supplier branding guidelines
- Industry codes of conduct: MTAA, MTANZ, ASA etc.
- Relevant laws and legislation: TGA, MedSafe, ACC, Spam acts etc.

**Online**

Assist in all aspects of online campaigns and tracking as required:

- Social media or search campaigns
- Assess analytics and help track sales, leads or opportunities
- Website content/updates
- SEO and PPC
- Content writing
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related field
- An interest in medical science or willingness to learn about the medical devices industry
- Experience in creating designs and artwork
- Attention to detail with accuracy and consistency
- Effective communication skills; verbal, written and presentation
- Ability to multi-task, meet multiple deadlines and project management skills
- Self-motivated with creative thinking
- Proactive
- Enjoy working in teams and possesses an engaging personality
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent ability to handle new technology/software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media, inbound marketing, updating websites, video/photo editing
- Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop etc.)
- CRM or Marketing software experience e.g. HubSpot or Marketing Cloud

**Experience and Education**:

- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and 0-2 years previous experience.
