This is a fantastic opportunity for a **Hydraulic Modeller - Potable Water**to join our water team **in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington or other regional locations.**

**The role**:

- Hydraulic modelling of potable water networks and associated planning studies
- Data analysis and manipulation
- Model build, calibration and validation
- Options analysis of water supply with assessment of existing problems and recommended solutions and/or upgrades
- Develop concept designs
- Preparation of comprehensive reports

**About you**:

- **Background.**Possess a relevant university degree in Civil Engineering, backed by over 5 years of hands-on experience in the industry or consulting environment.
- **Industry Knowledge.**Demonstrate a solid understanding of industry design standards and guidelines, ensuring all projects meet regulatory and quality benchmarks.
- **Technical Skills**. Exhibit strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, to support effective project documentation and analysis.
- **Technical Proficiency.**Have practical experience working with hydraulic modeling tools such as **Infoworks WS Pro**, along with familiarity with other relevant hydraulic simulation software. Possess working knowledge of **Geographic Information Systems (GIS)**to facilitate spatial analysis and mapping tasks.
- **Communication.**Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, to effectively collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- **Teamwork Dynamics.**Foster a collaborative team environment by nurturing teamwork, sharing knowledge, and encouraging collective problem-solving.
- **Efficiency.**Stay organized and efficient, adept at multitasking across multiple projects and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- **Proactivity and Innovation**. Take initiative and ownership of projects, proactively addressing challenges and seeking innovative solutions.
- **Adaptability.**Self-motivated, energetic, and flexible in approach—ready to adapt to changing project needs and industry developments.
- **Creativity and Problem-Solving.**Possess excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle complex engineering challenges with confidence and creativity.
