Our growth has been the result of excellent plumbing supplies backed by our service and commitment to our large customer base of plumbers, gasfitters, builders, homemakers, and renovators.

Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom Hamilton have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated person, strong in self
- management and decision making, looking for a new opportunity. This is a role with plenty of variety that will give you exposure to all aspects of a busy Plumbing Merchant.

You may have a good understanding of the ins and outs of the Trade Sales/Warehouse Store-person role in a plumbing/retail merchant and simply be ready for a new challenge. Or you may be a plumber looking to hang up the tools and see what life is like on the other side of the counter.

You will need to enjoy being customer facing as a large part of your role will be assisting our valued plumbers and builders on our Trade Counter and with telephone inquiries. You will also get involved in all warehousing activities from assisting our Inwards Goods and our Despatch department. You may also be asked to assist our Inventory department with stock counts. Due to this, there will be some heavy lifting, so you will need to be fit and in good health.

To work with the team at Chesters and our customers, you will need to be solution focussed, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to prioritise competing demands. We are looking for someone who can take initiative and takes pride in the work they do. You will need to have a friendly, open, and approachable manner, a great sense of humour and be a team player. Additionally, a full NZ driver's license (with the ability to drive manual vehicles) is essential, as you may be required to do deliveries on occasion.
