**About the Role**

We have an **Advanced Clinician Dietitian** opportunity available for experienced **New Zealand Registered Dietitian** to join our dynamic, supportive and self-motivated **National Intestinal Failure and Rehabilitation service.**This role could be based within the Nutrition and Dietetic Service at Auckland City hospital or remotely for those based outside of Auckland. This role is a **permanent,** **part-time**(12 hours /week) Monday to Friday. The primary purpose of NIFRS is to improve the provision of intestinal failure (IF) care to patients nationally. This is achieved by:

- Identifying patients and referring patients who may benefit from intestinal transplant
- Managing a national register of IF patients
- Developing and dissemination of standards of care for patients with prolonged IF
- Providing advice to clinicians managing IF patients
- Developing educational resources to support multidisciplinary management of IF

**About you | Important Skills**

As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- At least eight years post-graduate clinical experience including four years full time experience prescribing parenteral nutrition
- Full, clean NZ Drivers’ License
- Be a great connector of people and ideas
- An understanding of bicultural issues and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary setting
- Effective time management, flexibility, prioritisation and organisation skills
- Drive, energy and initiative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Immigration/Visa Support**

The remuneration for this position is covered by a collective agreement (PSA Allied, Public Health Scientific Technical MECA) Salary Range (Depending on experience): Designated Role step B2 $119,995 to designated role step C3 $127,720
