We are looking for someone who can use their refrigeration training and experience to meet the financial, time, and quality objectives of the Auckland Refrigeration Contracts Department. This is a hands-on role which will be based predominately in the field and responsible for supervising on-site installation, overseeing installation resources, and Sub-Contractors. **Key responsibilities will include**: - Collaborating with internal stakeholders and the Auckland Contracts Department to meet internal and customer KPI's - Provide "hands-on" installation and other services on projects for the Refrigeration Contracts Department - Procure and maintain stock of material in a timely manner as required to meet project requirements - Promote proactive service recommendations to our clients which will add value to their business operations - Maintaining health and safety standards **We are seeking someone who possess the below experience and attributes;** - Ability to read plans - Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills - Ability to control costs and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors - Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines, plan, and prioritise - A driven individual who aims to achieve results and has a desire to learn - Ability to build and maintain key relationships both internally and externally - This role is based in Christchurch, with the requirement to travel around New Zealand (predominantly South Island) when required. - Experience working in the refrigeration supermarket industry is an advantage **What can we offer you?** McAlpine Hussmann is at the leading edge of providing commercial refrigeration and air conditioning throughout Australasia.
