CNC Laser/turret/guillotine Operator

Full time, day shift hours with overtime rates applied after 40 hrs worked per week. Finish at lunch time on a Friday

**This is a hands-on role that will involve**:

- Set up and physical operation of CNC laser/turret/guillotine machines with significant material handling required.
- Ensuring all production parts physically match drawings (QA).
- Reporting any misalignment of factory output/engineering department drawings.
- Working with Factory Supervisor to organise product flow throughout department to achieve maximum efficiency
- Working with Factory Supervisor to organise production to optimise stock position
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance when required
- Maintain system integrity (CNC database vs engineering database)

**To be successful you should have**:

- Ideally, but not necessarily have previous experience setting and operating CNC laser/turrets
- Or have experience with other metal/production related machinery
- Strong passion/attention to detail
- Be self-managed
- Intermediate level computer skills
- Flexibility - willingness to adapt to moving priorities & possibly shifts if required
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Dedication/reliability.
- Willingness to learn/use a forklift once relevant licencing was obtained.
