**Education Consultant**

Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Christchurch based education company and become a part of a great team.

We are looking for 1 PERMANENT full-time (at least 30 hours guaranteed, workdays from Monday to Friday) Education Consultant to grow with our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.

**Tasks you may carry out**:

- Provide advice to students and families on education options in New Zealand, including secondary, tertiary, and language programmes.
- Assess students’ academic background and career goals to recommend suitable study pathways.
- Liaise with education providers to obtain and update course, fee, and admission information.
- Guide students on visa documentation requirements (in consultation with Licensed Immigration Advisers where appropriate).
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice.
- Promote New Zealand education opportunities through information sessions, meetings, and marketing materials.

**To be successful you will need to**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Business, or related field.
- At least two years’ experience in student counselling, education consulting, or international education services.
- Knowledge of New Zealand education pathways and student visa requirements.
- Strong communication and intercultural skills.
- Ability to manage records, prepare documentation, and work ethically with sensitive information.
