**About the Role**

Join Te Whānau o Waipareira in shaping a healthier future as the WaiHealth Administrator for our brand-new clinic. As a pivotal member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to both on-site and off-site WaiHealth teams. Your responsibilities will contribute to the safe, efficient, and culturally responsive provision of services from a Whānau Ora perspective.

Working closely with the Practice Manager, you will be instrumental in implementing organizational initiatives and overseeing day-to-day management across all care dimensions. This includes managing people, optimizing processes, and ensuring the proper allocation of physical resources.

You’ll be responsible for fostering an inclusive staff culture at WaiHealth, emphasizing equity and cultural safety for individuals, whānau, and the community. Along with providing leadership, support, and maintain high service standards while navigating challenges with initiative, problem-solving skills, and discretion in handling confidential information.

**Hours of Work**

This is fulltime mahi, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. We do expect some flexibility to muck in when required, as Waipareira adapts to support the needs of the community.

**Your Skills and Experience**:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- A strong commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori, with the ability to speak Te Reo Māori preferred.
- Demonstrated sound experience in a similar role for at least 2 years.
- 2 years experience in using Medtech Evolution - Practice Management System (PMS).
- Exceptional relationship-building skills.
- Highly developed communication skills, including written, listening, and speaking.
- Superb organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence.
- Self-motivated individual with a commitment to quality improvement initiatives.
- Empathy and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
