**About the role**
We are increasing the capacity of our People & Culture Team with the addition of a second Business Partner role. This is a varied, generalist role with a blend of strategic projects and partnering with our people leaders to design and support their people plans. This is a part-time role working 32 hours per week.
In the role you will:
- Collaborate with our people leaders to continue to evolve our culture that is aligned with our values and organisation strategy.
- Co-design, implement and embed innovative people programmes and initiatives that promote an inclusive culture; high performing teams; support change and innovation; and develop capability across our organisation.
- Partner with people leaders to provide pragmatic and solution focused advice on people matters
- Effectively manage employee relations issues to ensure a healthy organisational culture and legislative compliance
**What you will bring**
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification, with demonstrated experience in a similar position.
- Proven ER capability and in-depth working knowledge of employment legislation
- The ability to establish successful working relationships based on trust and credibility; you work to explore and understand business needs and collaborate with others to develop solutions/options to address challenges
- High level communication skills with strong emotional intelligence, able to adapt across a broad range of situations, with strong coaching and influencing skills.
- An ability to drive and support change across the organisation
