**About the role**
- Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader and working in a collaborative supportive team.
- Participate in technical support. proof of concepts, solution design, OMRON engineering services, repair assessments and team meetings to discuss knowledge sharing, solutions, and new initiatives.
- Assist customers to plan, design, and implement automation systems using OMRON Industrial automation components, machine controllers, and emerging technologies such as IoT, Robotics, and AI.
- Continuously develop product knowledge through hands-on, product training (internal and external), documentation, etc, and facilitate training courses to upskill the abilities of the customer base.
- Accompany the sales team to conduct on-site, prospecting, demonstrating, presenting, and providing solutions to achieve Automation Sales.

**Whom we’re looking for**:
This position is particularly suited to those who have a passion for learning and growth:

- A degree in Engineering or Electrical trade qualification:

- At least 5 years of experience working in a related field.
- At least 3 years in Industrial Automation is preferred.
- Robotics experience will be highly regarded.
- A self-motivator with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work independently.
- A team player with a collaborative nature to create inspired innovative solutions for the future.
- An analytical mind to solve complex issues and a keen eye for detail to leave ‘no stone' unturned.
- Mentorship of junior engineers
