Electronics Technician

Our client are a small electronics engineering firm based in the south of Christchurch.

We are currently looking for a skilled electronics technician that can work unsupervised on a variety of projects. Ideally you will have an educational qualification in the electronics or mechatronics engineering fields and/or have 5 years of relevant work experience.

**To be successful you must be able to demonstrate the ability to**:

- Read plans, schematics and manuals
- Use a variety of tools such as crimping tools, soldering irons and drill press.
- Work unsupervised to assemble varied and interesting electronics projects
- Show a solid understanding and interest in electronic engineering

Ideally you will be able to start immediately and work long term on a temporary or casual contract. Hours of work can vary with work load and may be between 24 and 40 hours per week.
