We are looking for a Civil Design Manager to join our Southern Infrastructure team in Christchurch, Dunedin or Queenstown. In this role, you will join a large Transport & Infrastructure team in leading the delivery of our civil, land development and aviation projects. Each day will provide challenge and variety; overall, you can expect to:

- Illustrate your experience of delivering high-quality engineering design solutions for clients in the South Island and across New Zealand
- Participate in close client-facing opportunities with some regular travel and access to our larger civil infrastructure projects
- Demonstrate technical and practical design problem-solving skills for civil infrastructure projects;
- Participate in multidisciplinary project teams and take responsibility for packages of work
- Develop and build strong customer relationships, understanding our client's core business and ensuring that services meet their expectations
- Demonstrate your ability to embrace a culture that values teamwork and enjoy being rewarded for your contribution and commitment

**About You**

Your passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful projects that impact our communities. This role would suit a Civil Engineer with a design background who wants to step into a delivery lead role where you can take ownership of projects from inception through to design and delivery. You will have an inquiring mind, able to problem solve and think laterally; you might be a Chartered Engineer or on your way to chartership, where you have used your experience in geometrical design, the use of 12d and Civil 3d and exposure to managing projects per NZS 3910.
