Digital Consulting combines technology consulting with deep technical experience across a range of technology, areas and services. Our advisors combine extensive knowledge of data and analytics, cyber security, software development, IT strategy and operating models to provide clients with a service that adds recognised value.
**The Opportunity**:
- We are seeking a **Senior Data Scientist** to join our Data & Analytics team within One Digital Consulting. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data science to deliver impactful insights and solutions for a variety of clients. You will work on challenging projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and drive data-driven decision-making.
**Day to day you will**:
- Work with large and complex datasets to solve a variety of challenging problems using advanced analytical and statistical approaches.
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models to address business challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.
- Build and maintain robust pipelines for data processing and model deployment.
- Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance on technical approaches and career development.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
**What you’ll bring**:
- ** 3-5 years of experience** in data science, preferably with a consulting background.
- Proficiency in **Python** and** SQL**, with the ability to deliver production-ready code in well-tested CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with** cloud platforms**, particularly **Azure**.
- Experience with **end-to-end model development**, including deployment and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tackle loosely defined problems and present solutions clearly.
- Experience mentoring junior data scientists to help them succeed.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as** Power BI**, **Tableau**, or **Qlik**.
