**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We are seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Technical Specialist to lead the charge in transforming our configuration management capabilities.

**What You'll Do**
- Own the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of configuration data within the ServiceNow platform.
- Design and enforce data standards, policies, and processes for CMDB and CSDM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to drive data quality initiatives.
- Conduct audits, generate performance reports, and lead stakeholder meetings.
- Reduce system outages and improve incident resolution through precise service mapping and automated ticket routing.
- Deliver training and support to data users and custodians, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

**Ko koe tēnei | About you**
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - CMDB (CIS-CMDB), Completion of ServiceNow CMDB Fundamentals training, Optional micro-certifications such as CMDB Health and Performance Analytics.
- Proficiency in using ServiceNow CMDB tools and methods, such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and Configuration Management, Familiarity with scripting languages like JavaScript and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and AJAX.

Key Skills:

- Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow CMDB data model, data dictionary, and data architecture.
- In-depth understanding of the ITIL framework and best practices for configuration management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
