The NZ Transport Agency along with its delivering agency the Mt Messenger Alliance, is constructing, and continuing to operate, a new section of SH3, between Uruti and Ahititi to the north of New Plymouth in Taranaki which is located entirely within the rōhe of Ngāti Tama. This new section of SH3 will bypass the existing approximately 7.4km steep, narrow and winding section of highway at Mt Messenger.

As our order book grows, we are looking for an experienced Survey Manager to join us based on site in Mount Messenger. You will work closely with the project team to ensure all surveying work is prepared to specifications. If you want your workload to be diverse, then this is for you The role will offer the successful applicant a good mix between field and office, with the chance to work with the most up-to-date equipment.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**
- Proven practical Civil Engineering Survey experience
- BSurv or equivalent tertiary qualification, or technical industry experience
- Proven experience leading survey teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with modern survey software, equipment and machine control
- Able to balance resources against time, cost and human factors and deliver required survey outcomes
- Undertake computations and required checks to create set out data and 3D models
- Responsibility for monthly volumes and progress tracking
- A strong commitment to health and safety initiatives
- Excellent computer literacy
- Full New Zealand driver's license
