Production Supervisor

**The Role**:
This role will be accountable for supervising our precast team to produce high-quality precast concrete products. Ideally, you will be coming to this role with proven experience in concrete production and capable of deploying manufacturing best practices.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Leading the production team to deploy the best manufacturing processes
- Ensuring cleanliness and maintaining a safe work environment
- Problem-solving to develop corrective actions or to initiate continuous improvement
- Creation and review of risk assessments and production processes within operational areas
- Investigating efficiencies and implementing improvements
- Auditing of production quality and paperwork to constantly improve standards

**What you will bring to Hynds**:

- Proven experience in leading/supervising a team in a busy precast production environment
- The ability to read construction drawings, mould set-up, and concrete finishing
- A safety-focused approach to work
- Current Full Driver's Licence
- A reasonable level of physical fitness and prepared to work outside in various weather conditions

**The following unit standards would be preferred but training will be provided**:

- Unit Standards -3789 Sling & Communicate
- Unit Standards -3800 Gantry Crane
