Night and Day Shifts

Pacific Stone is a leading supplier and fabricator of quality handcrafted surfaces, all made to order from stunning natural and engineered stone and porcelain products.

They measure, fabricate, and install beautiful granite, marble, stone, engineered stone, and porcelain for kitchens, bathrooms, fire hearths, reception counters, and a host of commercial spaces.They supply to the commercial business market, building companies, architects, designers, contractors, and kitchen cabinet makers throughout New Zealand and also sell directly to the homeowner.

Due to the popularity of classical benchtops and surfaces, Pacific Stone is looking to grow its Fabrication, Installation, and Polishing teams.

**About the Roles**:

- The CNC saws and the CNC profiling machines and the Water Jet all need experienced staff who can operate CNC machines and read Cad drawings.
- Manual Polishers need to be experienced in polishing with handheld polishing tools, as they polish the tops, sides, and edges of the product, which is cut for kitchen benchtops, countertops and other surfaces from engineered stone, granite stone, and sintered stone.
- Benchtop Fabricators need to be experienced in gluing together and then polishing stone to form thicker surfaces.

**Ideal Requirements**:

- Polishing, Fabrication, CNC Operation, or Benchtop / Countertop Installation experience is preferred.
- Experience is required as the stone is expensive and the tools used are polished and cut with diamond tooling.
- You must be Health and Safety conscious, with an eye for detail and quality workmanship.
- An effective team player, who is reliable, able to follow instructions, prioritize workload, and is motivated to achieve output deadlines.
