Pacific Stone is a leading supplier and fabricator of quality handcrafted surfaces, all made to order from stunning natural and engineered stone and porcelain products. They measure, fabricate, and install beautiful granite, marble, stone, engineered stone, and porcelain for kitchens, bathrooms, fire hearths, reception counters, and a host of commercial spaces.They supply to the commercial business market, building companies, architects, designers, contractors, and kitchen cabinet makers throughout New Zealand and also sell directly to the homeowner.

Pacific Stone are currently seeking CNC Operators, Fabricators, Polishers, and Installers, due to the ongoing popularity of quality stone workmanship in both homes and businesses nationwide.

**Tasks and Responsibilities for CNC Operator**:

- Set up and operate machine tools to shape and form stone stock to fine tolerances, using detailed drawings and specifications.
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings.
- Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts
- Take instructions/directions for job allocations and requirements
- Be clear on the specific details and expected time frames for job completion.
- Carry out duties in a professional tradesman-like manner.
- Striving towards producing the highest quality work without errors.
- Collaborate with other employees. Check the accuracy of your work.
- Follow all Health and Safety standards.
- Arrive to start work at the required times set.
- Be diligent with your time management.
- Take instructions from your supervisors.
- Be prepared to work extra hours from time to time as required

**The Successful Applicant/s will have**:

- Experience operating and programming 5 Axis CNC profiling machine.
- Proven skills in interpreting Engineering drawings and CAD drawings.
- Experience using manual machines and general workshop equipment
- A fluent level of written and spoken English.
- An NZ driver's licence will be required.
