Operator/Labourer

We are on the hunt for Operator Labourers (5 vacancies) to work as part of our Surfacing Team in Christchurch.

This is a permanent full time role, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, working from Monday to Friday and Saturdays from time to time as required for the project.

The role will be mainly based in Canterbury but may be required to travel occasionally around South Island as per project requirements.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Work as a team to complete the requirements of the project
- Operate machinery on site typical to chipsealing and surfacing work (truck, paver, roller etc.)
- Perform labouring duties as required
- Be proactive keeping yourself and your work mates safe
- Supporting Traffic Management Operations when needed

**What knowledge / experience / qualifications are we after?**
- Full class 1 licence, or overseas equivalent
- 3+ years experience in chipsealing and surfacing
- Good understanding of the construction industry
- Reasonable level of fitness
