These regulatory telematic services benefit both our customers by improving return on investment, and communities and the wider public through safer driving practices and valuable data analytics across the road network to help improve the planning, maintenance and management of our roads.
**The Role**

We’re on the lookout for an experienced UI designer to support our multidisciplinary product team to define the next generation of EROADs digital interfaces across all of our digital touchpoints.

Utilising customer insight, best practice, and your superior UI skills this role will work with our UX design, product, and technology teams to evolve and expand our design system helping to define principles and guidelines that enable EROAD to deliver experiences to our customers that not only help them succeed but also drive advocacy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and improve scalable assets, icons, illustrations and animations that will take our products into the future
- Work with the design, product, and technology teams to build out our design system
- Ensure valuable, scalable and feasible design solutions that work across platforms and on any screen size
- Transform complex design challenges into easy-to-use, delightful experiences. Simplicity is key
- Promote human-centered design and consistent interactions across all of EROADs product offerings.
- Define and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

**Requirements**:
To succeed in this role, you must have:

- 4+ years of interface design experience.
- Extensive experience designing across digital platforms (responsive web, app, etc.) in large organisations or at scale.
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Ability to work with design systems in real world environments.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to create interaction prototypes to communicate concepts and designs to the teams.
- Ability to solve problems, get things done and achieve results in a constantly changing environment.
- Able to communicate in a confident, clear and focused manner.
- Front end development (CSS/JavaScript/HTML) advantageous but not required.
