Duty Manager

Supporting management in coordinating, supervising, and leading the overall operations of the store.
- Ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for customers while complying with the store’s legal requirements and the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Implementing effective merchandising strategies, including store and promotional displays.
- Assisting in managing inventory, monitoring stock levels, and liaising with suppliers to maintain adequate product availability.
- Assisting with marketing initiatives, store promotions, and advertising activities.
- Supporting rostering, cash handling, budgeting, and health & safety compliance.
- Maintaining store standards, including cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep.
- Contributing to the store’s sales targets and overall company KPIs.
- Opening and closing the store as required.
- Selling liquor and other store products to customers.
**Other important requirements**:
- Prior relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Having a LCQ (Licensing Controller Qualification) is an advantage.
- Willingness to work rostered shifts.
- Availability to work on weekends.
- Physically able to stand and work for extended periods.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Dedicated, hardworking, and enthusiastic.
- Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective team player.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
