**Systems Engineer (Kenmure, Dunedin)**:
**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**IDEALLY YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL ENABLE YOU TO**:
**Manage our information technology and computer systems **by planning, organizing and evaluating the operations of information systems. You will manage and maintain our network operating systems and implement, manage and maintain physical and virtual servers. You should have experience in monitoring software licensing requirements and be well versed in updating network manuals, diagrams and user resources. You will assist with ensuring that all our IT systems are safe and secure by managing firewalls, anti-virus protection, backup and failover procedures.

**Ensure technology is accessible to internal users **by managing helpdesk services,, providing network access to all staff, assisting new users with existing technology and training staff in the use of software. You will need to ensure new user accounts and permissions are created accurately and in a timely manner, as well as actioning any necessary terminations. As part of this role you will also need to monitor and report security incidents.

**Monitor and maintain our IT systems, platforms and technology **including system management, security and licensing requirements of Azure, Intune, AD, SharePoint, Teams, VMware/Hyper-V environment, Cloud, Microsoft Exchange, SolidWorks, CAM software, Syteline. You will also manage an accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources including mobile and landlines. You will also be responsible for the purchase, set up, maintenance, repair and rebuild of technology as required.
