This is a full-time, permanent position.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Wellington regional team in providing administration support for front line staff based in the Lower Hutt Office who deliver support.

The role ensures our front line staff have the resources they need to do their job, such as assisting with car and meeting room bookings, processing funding and service requests, taking phone calls, as well as managing day-to-day activities of a busy office.

You will take on the role with enthusiasm and your organisation and planning skills will be second to none as no two days will be the same. Your calm and professional approach will shine through at all times even when things are extremely busy

You will also bring:

- Previous experience in an admistrative role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility and a desire to learn
- A collaborative team approach
- Proven time mnagement skills, with the ability to handle a busy work load
- Attention to detail and data entry skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
- A full driver's licence
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

Te Mahau | Te Tai Runga provides leadership and integrated services to the education sector and others. This includes learning support; education advice and regulation functions for schools and early learning services; and advice and support with curriculum. We also share practice and learnings collaboratively with other Te Mahau and Ministry groups to support insights driven guidance, design, and policy.

We work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, expertise, and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential.
