**Discover the Opportunity**

Based out of our Wiri corrugated manufacturing site, **The Reliability Planner** will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic maintenance plans for the plant and equipment, optimising maintenance systems to achieve target reliability with efficient utilisation of resources.

On top of operational requirements, you will coach, mentor and develop the maintenance and operations teams to drive continuous improvement across the Opal Auckland manufacturing sites.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Through process, systems, equipment, and engineering improvement support embedding a strong safety culture.
- Be familiar with and comply with all elements of Opal’s quality management systems, policies and processes.
- Manage the planning and maintenance of the CMMS (computerised management maintenance system) and review/update maintenance systems, plans and registers.
- Co-ordination of asset management with shutdown planning, schedules and resource requirements.
- Deliver the condition monitoring activities and utilise this information to develop equipment repair or replacement strategies.
- Lead from the front with hands on involvement to prove process concepts and implementation of improvement activities.
- Maintain a focus on response times as well as effective and timely close out of issues raised by production teams.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related qualification.
- Experienced Manufacturing leader with experience in manufacturing tools and processes
- Experience with maintenance planning systems.
- Good IT skills and Microsoft.
- Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Project management and analytical skills
