We are a Specialist provider of Cold Storage and distribution services, we operate facilities in the Golden Triangle and the Central North Island. Privately owned, we are a small team focused on pushing the boundaries of the cold chain with national, regional and local storage and distribution accounts, providing essential services to Food Producers, Growers and Distributors.

The role

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for an energetic and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Hamilton Facility

This role includes picking and packing of customer orders and other warehousing tasks. We like a tidy house so general warehouse housekeeping duties are also important. The role will involve operating a stand-up Raymond Reach Truck so a current forklift license is required and the ability to work on your own is key as well as being part of a well oiled machine.

You will be comfortable in a computerized environment and preferable have experience using software inventory management records. Experience with random weight inventory would also be an advantage.

You will be comfortable in a Cold Storage environment - the cold storage operates at temperature ranges from -18C to -25C. We’ll supply you with all the protective clothing and safety supplies you need.

You will be comfortable working in a small team

Good verbal communication

Problem solving and decision-making ability

Good Mathematical skills

The ability to sustain high paced, physical work

Previous forklift experience

Proven track record as a positive team member

Excellent interpersonal skills
