Thermosash Commercial Ltd, Levin is actively seeking a dynamic Production Operations Manager to spearhead and enhance manufacturing processes in their state-of-the-art facility, which boasts a workforce of 53 employees. This role is part of the Senior Team reporting to the General Manager of the Lower South Island Region. Key responsibilities include optimising operational efficiencies, coordinating teams to meet project obligations across all contracts, and maintaining industry-leading standards within a large and complex factory environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Leading leaders and People Management:

- Mentoring and coaching leaders to foster growth and leadership capabilities
- Empowering teams to make autonomous decisions and align strategic goals
- Facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams
- Ensure performance reviews, training, and development opportunities for all team members

Production workflow and manufacturing:

- Optimise staffing levels to match workflow and maximise productivity
- Developing production schedules in collaboration with project managers to achieve targets and adhere to production timelines to ensure you meet the agreed client deliverables
- Ensure the quality of work meets the company standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction

Audit and Compliance:

- Audit and compliance monitoring and reporting
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and work instructions
- Uphold health and safety regulations and standards
- Implement policies and procedures to create a safe workplace
- An understanding of MPI and IS0 compliance

**Experience, Qualifications and Skills required**:

- Proven leadership and people management skills in a manufacturing environment
- Logistics or supply chain management experience
- Experienced and thorough understanding of QA standards and
- An understanding of MPI, ISO and Lean manufacturing principles
- Experience using AutoCAD Invertor, Emmegi Software, Auto Desk Viewer, Trillo for Manufacturing, Office 365, and digital data management systems
- Financial and budgeting skills
- Uses effective communication techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plans
- Complex problem-solving skills, agile and adaptive
- Ability to formulate strategies to enhance both quality and productivity across the organisation
