The School of Sport and Recreation within AUT University is a growing and vibrant school with over 80 staff and 1,000 students, offering programmes from certificate to PhD level across multiple discipline areas. We require a Nutrition Lecturer that can teach a second-year sports nutrition course within the Bachelor of Sport and Recreation.
**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
This is a casual contract equating to approximately 12 hours per week beginning in July 2025 and ending in November 2025. This position will require teaching to take place at the AUT North Shore Campus.
The purpose of this role is to:
- Provide high-quality teaching in the second-year Sport and Exercise Nutrition course, which forms part of the suite of nutrition courses within the School of Sport and Recreation. The course sits within the Exercise Science and Nutrition major of the Bachelor of Sport and Recreation.
- Deliver a quality educational experience that meets the needs of students, industry, and professional groups, through leadership and innovative teaching.
- Ensure a committed approach to delivering on a programme that values student centred approaches to teaching and learning.
**He kōrero mōu | About you**
The appointee will contribute to the development of content related to this course.
Applicants must hold a relevant nutrition related tertiary qualification and be eligible to work in New Zealand.
