**Parehua Resort Martinborough is looking for one full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join the energetic housekeeping team in Martinborough.**

One hours drive from Wellington lies Martinborough, in the center of one of New Zealands premier wine districts and home to Parehua. Wine buffs stay in the cottages and villas here while exploring the region, often dining at the excellent restaurant onsite, if you appreciate good food and wine this is a place that youll be proud to call work.

We are open seven days a week and you must be flexible to work weekends and public holidays. This is a hands-on role and requires you to be part of the busy operation on a daily basis.
- A relevant hospitality/management qualification or at least 1-year management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in team management.
- Work well under pressure.
- Eye for details.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to multitask.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean rooms and public areas to the highest standard, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment for all guests.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
- Reporting any concerns to the Executive Housekeeping Manager, and ensuring all housekeeping activities are coordinated effectively.
- Mentor and train housekeeping staff, promoting a culture of high-quality service.
- Oversee daily work activities, including special cleaning projects, to maintain exceptional cleanliness across the property.
- Prepare team rosters within budgetary guidelines and assist in the recruitment process when needed.
- Implement and enforce companys policies, Occupational Health & Safety, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure strict control and efficient use of housekeeping inventory, including chemicals, linen, and uniforms.
- Address guest complaints professionally and timely, ensuring follow-ups for complete resolution.
- Prioritize guest comfort, recommend strategies to improve their experience, if needed.
- Liaise with other departments for efficient room turnover and smooth operation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to safety rules in all tasks.
