Senior Network Engineer

Mō te tūnga | About the role
The
Senior Network Engineer is a senior member of the ISG Network &
Communications Team where you will lead the design and architecture of the CDHB
network, and supervise the workload of the technical team involved in the
administration, configuration and troubleshooting of the CDHB's data
networks.

**Part of this roles responsibilities will be to**:

- Act as an advisor to

colleagues and customers
- Develop and maintain
administration procedures, knowledge articles and documentation
- Act as an escalation
point for issues other Network team staff can't solve
- Define high level
standards for Network management (and own responsibility for them)Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- CCNP or JNCIP

certification, or similar vendor certification, or be well advanced in studying
for such certification.
- Tertiary or
industry recognised qualification in Electronics, Telecommunications or ICT.
- A thorough understanding of data Networking, TCPIP and structured
cabling systems.
- Ability to develop a sound knowledge of
activities, relevant procedures, and systems affecting the business.
