We have a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your expertise in pavement testing and geotechnical work. This is a pivotal role to help build business for the organisation and still be hands-on. You will have the opportunity to work on some unique projects and develop towards becoming a key senior figure.

**Based in Onehunga, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Pavement testing - Benkelman Beam, Insitu CBR and the associated reporting
- Pavement pitting and logging
- Traffic management - drafting plans & sourcing Council approval
- Ground Penetrating Radar Testing / service clearance

**About you**:

- A recent graduate of Earth Science, Geology, Physical Geography, NZ Dip in Engineering.
- The job is physically demanding therefore you will need a high degree of physical strength to perform manual labour.
- We require a technical and practical person who can independently trouble shoot and problem solve technical requests / issues.
- The availability to work weekends and nights as required as well as some travel to project sites.
- Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level.
- Good communication skills to coordinate field teams and deliver a quality service to customers.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a diverse team.
- Curious and motivated to learn and improve.
