Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
As Solicitor you play a unique role in our organisation to advise on the legal issues of policy and healthcare matters. Using your knowledge of NZ Healthcare legislation you'll help our policy and regulatory teams navigate complex matters. With the guidance of our Seniors you'll provide advice on corporate and commercial work for the Ministry. You will build positive relationships across the ministry and the ministers office. You will step out of your comfort zone and take you next step in your legal career.
Ko pūkenga - What you'll bring
- Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand
- Hold or eligible to hold a practising certificate
- Familiarity with government processes, machinery of government and working with legislation
- Experience in commercial and contract law in a public sector environment
- Knowledge of providing legal advice on complex matters
