Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity As an Operations Advisor you will play a key liaison role in supporting our key service delivery partners (NZ Post, AA, VTNZ, VINZ). You will ensure effective and efficient operational support, in order to provide an excellent service to the New Zealand public. Working closely with your dedicated team, you will be responsible for investigation and analysis to make recommendations that contribute to the improvement of agent processes, performance and support.This is a great opportunity to showcase your relationship management skills, to ensure that the interest of the agents and Waka Kotahi are represented. This is a fast-paced role in an ever-changing environment, where your strong customer service and administration skills will be vital. - A high level of customer focus, with the ability to provide timely, accurate and high-quality customer service advice
- Demonstrated experience working in a Customer Service environment
- The ability to navigate multiple software systems
- High level of communication skills
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Good judgement and balance decision making skills
- Resilience to a dynamic working environment

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
