**The Opportunity**

Te Uru Arotau/Acute & Elective Specialist Services has an exciting senior leadership opportunity in the Operations Lead, Integrated Operations Centre (IOC), Emergency Department & Nurse Manager IOC.

This is a permanent, full-time role.
The Operations Lead, Integrated Operations Centre (IOC), Emergency Department & Nurse Manager IOC, role is an integral part of the Te Uru Arotau leadership team.

The role’s key responsibility will be to provide strategic leadership and operational management of services that fall within the direct responsibility of this role, which includes having a “whole of system” approach. The role will lead the delivery of contemporary models of care that are developed through co-design approaches, as well as lead and contribute to a programme of transformational change and the integration of services across the Acute & Elective Specialist Services cluster. The role will also be responsible for growing and developing front-line clinical leadership, actively supporting leadership capability improvements, and enabling clinicians and teams within the service group to make good decisions as close to the patient/client as possible.

There is a requirement to participate in the MidCentral senior management on call roster and to act for senior leadership as required.
