Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 35 hours / per week, rostering from Monday to Sunday), Permanent
Our pay: $25-$30 per hour depending on personal ability

We are a well-established popular restaurant based in Queenstown.

To enhance our team, we are now looking for a 4 kitchen hands to join our team. We are expecting someone who has attention to details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of the team.

**No prior work experience** is required for this role but could be an advantage. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.**

This position will be required to assist chefs and waiting staff in preparing and serving food, wash dishes and clean food preparation and service areas.

**Tasks Include**:

- Clean all kitchen surfaces and remove rubbish
- Wash and clean kitchen equipment and appliances
- Keep the food and supply storage areas organized and clean
- Sort, store and distribute cooking ingredients
- Wash, peel, chop and cut food ingredients as required
- Help to prepare dishes, weight ingredients and check supplies
- Provide assistance to cooks/chefs and other kitchen staff during cooking as needed
- Prepare, handle, sort and store food as directed by cooks/chefs
- Assist in packing food items and beverage for serving
- Re-stock and put away food and other supplies and equipment at the end of each shift
