HR Coordinator

**About the Te Ara Tupua Alliance project**:
This is your chance to work on an iconic part of Wellington's harbour waterfront. More people than ever are cycling in and around Wellington, and Te Ara Tupua Alliance is working with our mana whenua partners, protecting the coastal environment, and creating a great walking and cycling option for people in our region. More people walking and cycling will improve public health, help reduce emissions and ease the pressure on other modes of transport.

The Te Ara Tupua Alliance consists of Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, HEB Construction, Downer NZ and Tonkin + Taylor - working closely with iwi mana whenua.

**About the role**:
The people and culture coordinator will support the successful overall delivery of the Te Ara Tupua project, working across all home organisations to deliver project support across all resourcing, people processes and culture development activities. Reporting to the People and Culture lead this role will coordinate and provide support to the project and home organisation's HR teams from recruitment administration, induction and onboarding, new employee's documentation, through to maintaining databases, reporting and HR systems and processes. You will be someone who can really multitask and manage different tasks and priorities whilst building good relationships with our current and prospective employees, our managers and supervisors as well as external suppliers.

**To be successful in this role you'll have**:

- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant HR administrative position
- Experience in working with HR systems/analytics and reporting
- Curiosity; always looking for more effective ways to do things
- Ability to handle large volumes of data with confidentiality
- The drive the further your career and take advantage of opportunities that come your way
- Excellent interpersonal skills
