We are a very busy Chinese Restaurant & Takeaways, which is based in Bombay, Auckland. Due to the shortage of kitchen staff, we are currently looking forChinese Cuisine ChefandTakeaways Cooks (mainly for Chinese cuisine) to join our busy team.

**A) Job**: Chinese Cuisine Chef

**Hour rate**: $28.00 - $28.50

**Working hours**: At least 30 hours per week

Lead, mentor and manage the culinary team.

Develop and plan menus and weekly specials.

Create prep lists for the kitchen crew.

Manage food costing and inventory.

Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality and appearance.

Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.

Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage and work areas.

Comply with F&B safety & hygiene and Workplace safety & health policies and procedures.

Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and standards.

Preparing & Cooking Food.

**Requirements**:
Expertise in Chinese Cuisine Chef for preparing Chinese dishes such as Sichuan, DongBei dishes and other etc.

Able to study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients and prepare all kinds of Chinese Foods ingredients.

At least 3 years of cooking/ relevant experience.

Passionate for cooking & a positive attitude.

Applicants must be NZ citizens or have the right to work in NZ and be suitably qualified.

**B) Job**: ChineseTakeaway Cook

**Hour rate**: $25.00 - $26.50

**Working hours**: At least 40 hours per week

Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.

Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.

Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patrons, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.

Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.

Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.

Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.

Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.

Schedule activities and equipment use with Restaurant Managers, using information about daily menus to help coordinate cooking times.

Order and take delivery of supplies.

Applicants must be NZ citizens or have the right to work in NZ and be suitably qualified,at least 3 years of cooking or relevant experience.
