About the role
Te Tari Taiwhenua - DIA Legal Services Team consists of two team - Policy and Regulatory Team and the Commercial and Corporate Team. This is a permanent Solicitor role in the Corporate and Commercial Team, based in Wellington. In the role you'll get to work on a wide range of matters, including:

- Giving commercial and contract law advice, contract review, drafting and negotiation
- Working on complex projects (including ICT/Technology, IP and Property/Construction), procurement processes and all-of-government initiatives
- Corporate law issues such as HR, Health & Safety, Privacy and Information Management
- Providing legal assurance to Chief Executive, ELT and Chief Legal Advisor.
