**About the Role**:
As the Infrastructure Operations Engineer, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of Council-owned infrastructure. This position involves a balance of office-based coordination and field-based oversight, working closely with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

**What We're Looking For**:
We're seeking someone with a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to grow within the role. A National Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering is ideal and contract management experience is also desirable.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent relationship management and communication abilitiesConfidence in working with contractors and suppliers
- The ability to lead, coach and encourage continuous improvement
- Good computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and data systems
- A proactive, patient, and resilient approach
- A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to get stuck in when needed
