Due to continued growth and opportunity, we are looking for an Investment Strategy Lead reporting to our Head of Network Transformation & Investment. Your key focus will be to lead the design and implementation of a structured asset management approach around strategy and planning. It will be critical to establish an investment evaluation framework that will maximise the value of our network investments in the future.

This role will play a key part in driving the current and future success of Orion looking to the next 10-20 years, and what role we play in that. We need to think strategically; how do we measure, how do we prioritise our investment to deliver the best value and outcome to our customers.

**The role**:

- Create a positive, customer-focused work environment through effective leadership, with a growth and development mindset
- Ensure we are robust with Orion’s Group strategy and Orion’s investment strategy with a Strategic Asset Management Plan
- Design, implement and maintain asset management frameworks with relevant strategy documents
- Improve the development of flexibility solution assessment methodology and commercial value models

**About you**:

- Strong leadership skills with a natural way to empower others
- Relevant Engineering degree within an electrical or power field
- Extensive experience within an asset management role in the electricity and/or related infrastructure industry
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Ability to lead, develop and create at a strategic level including planning and assessment
