Assistant Manager:
Requirements to be successful in the position:
6 months - 1 year minimum experience in the retail / hospitality environment.

Good communication skills.

Strong leadership as well as motivational skills

The successful applicant will have to be prepared to work weekends and evenings if

required.

The outline of the job duties are mentioned below, detailed job duties would be discussed at the time of interview. In this role, you will be fully responsible for assisting in organizing and

controlling business operations.

Responsible for assisting in managing the store in Wellington.

As an Assistant Manager of a busy Pizza store should be expert in making and cutting

pizzas, a quick learner as pizza recipes and procedures keep changing often.

Assist in managing and roster staff efficiently to achieve target SPMH.

Assist in managing all areas of staff training and able to resolve all customer issues.

Major challenges - Uphold policies and standards.

Assist in managing to build sales to meet company goals while managing costs and

inventory.

Assist in managing and ensure the store is properly staffed and team members are fully

trained.

Maintaining effective communication at all times.

Provide excellent customer service.

Assist in managing stock levels.

Also need to assist in managing Interview, hiring and disciplinary actions of staff. and

also manage payroll requirements.

Need to manage Store equipment service records up to date.

Keeping the Store to a good standard and as per Council food and safety requirements.

To autonomously set up and manage the store.

Maintain security controls - cash,keys, alarms and stocks

Develop and maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with customers and

suppliers

To take responsibility for the profitability of the store by ensuring that the outlet achieves

its target number of sales

Levels 1-6 within the Path to Excellence (P2E) training platform (all modules and

courses)

All current promotional training within P2E

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate & Level 1 First Aid Qualification

Must be able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays

Must be ready to do required training.

A full NZ driving license is a must with your own car.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
