**About the role**
Talley’s have an exciting Motueka based opportunity for a keen and motivated Payroll Administrator to join the team and support their multi-site Company payroll function.
This fulltime permanent role reports to the Payroll Manager and is part of a dedicated team who undertake the weekly payroll processing for over 2000 employees working at a range of different sites throughout New Zealand. You’ll be responsible for preparing information for the weekly processing and ensuring that all the data and information has been accurately and efficiently entered into the payroll system.
**Who are you?**
This role offers a great opportunity for an up-and-coming administration professional who enjoys working with numbers, has a strong eye for detail and enjoys providing a consistently helpful and responsive service to a busy and diverse operational team.
You’ll be a self-starter with a positive and adaptable attitude who is hard working, reliable and keen to learn. It would be great if you had previous payroll experience, but you may be a person who enjoys systems and getting things right who is looking for a change in direction or a new opportunity. Full training will be provided for the payroll system.
**For this role, you’ll need**:
- Competency in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
- High attention to detail, especially with data, numbers and information
- Able to work autonomously, problem solve and work collaboratively
