**About the Role**

Join us in making a meaningful impact as the Kaitauhere - Employment Coordinator. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in upholding the mana of Te Whānau o Waipareira by supporting whānau holistically and nurturing robust, positive relationships.

Through our commitment to kaupapa Māori service delivery, we prioritize understanding the unique needs of whānau and offer comprehensive support tailored to their goals and aspirations. Your role will involve implementing effective strategies, refining processes, and expanding networks to foster ongoing whānau development within Te Whānau o Waipareira's services. Building strong relationships is key as you will be growing rapport with whanau, employers and key stakeholders through effective communication and relationship building skills.

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with and supporting whānau to achieve aspirations.
- Commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori.
- Demonstrated ability to support whānau to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
- High level of report writing and developed analytical skills are desirable.
- Ability to maintain a caseload of whānau and connect them to the relevant employment pathway.
- Demonstrated and proven experience of working with whānau.
- High level of energy, innovation, self-motivation, and enthusiasm, with excellent interpersonal skills.
